Thinking inside the Box & The Power of the Bunt

With what the Lord has showed me Yesterday this video blessed me again. I've seen this before but I think I appreciate it more now.

Lord help me to "Bunt" for God :) Your power is perfected in weakness. You have always used the ones who never had it all to do the most amazing things. Help me to keep my eyes open. Help me to serve my family and realize what an amazing ministry that you have already given me.

Oh and on a side I was looking at Matthew 20:26 when it says "...whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." The word servant in the Greek is the word "diakonos" where we get the word deacon from. {{1249 diákonos (from 1223 /diá, "thoroughly" and konis, "dust") – properly, "thoroughly raise up dust by moving in a hurry, and so to minister"}}

I end todays blog I leave with that i had on my mind right before I started writing. Thank you Lord what you can do with my nothing.

Acts 3
Peter Heals a Lame Beggar
1 One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 2 Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.

6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

God, Please Teach Me To Serve

Its interesting what happened tonight. I had fallen asleep while holding Amadeus. My wife entered the room and I woke up. Talked to her for a minute and began watching TBN ( a channel I rarely watch.) And heard a few people talking about depression which has been some thing I have been Struggling with lately. Also trying to provide for my Family and I Felt the Lord say he wants me to serve. He wants my family to serve. Let nothing be too small for us to be willing to do. I felt him say that nothing we do in him (or for him is small) He reminded me of how God has used so many "small" people to have a great impact on His Kingdom. He reminded how when my father accepted Christ How it changed the Direction of my family. I Felt the Lord day that He is going impact people through the service he has called me and my family to serve. Jesus came to serve the least of these.

Lord I pray you keep me faithful in this. Help me to keep my focus off myself and on you. Help me to realize you will always take care of me. Help me to seek First your you kingdom. Help me to lead my family. Please help me to my eyes open for opportunities that you are providing me and for my family. Help us to be sensitive to your Holy Spirit. Lord I wanna see you glorified. Lord I dont want to be all I can for you, I want you to be all you can be in me. Thank you for the trials that have brought me down low enough to hear you voice.

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand
30 The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had
done and taught. 31Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”

32 So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. 33 But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. 34 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.

35 By this time it was late in the day, so his disciples came to him. “This is a remote place,” they said, “and it’s already very late. 36 Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.”

37 But he answered, “You give them something to eat.”

They said to him, “That would take more than half a year’s wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?”

38 “How many loaves do you have?” he asked. “Go and see.”

When they found out, they said, “Five—and two fish.”

39 Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. 41 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. 42 They all ate and were satisfied, 43 and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. 44The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.

Matthew 20:25-28 (New International Version, ©2010)

25 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of

the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Imitating Christ’s Humility
1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united withChrist, if any comfort from his love, if
any common sharing in the Spirit, if any
tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus

How Great Is Our God

I serve such an AWESOME God!!!!
HOW GREAT, HOW GREAT, HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!!!!!!!

Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. Psalm 115:3 (ESV)

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land. Jer. 29.11-14 (NLT)

Reminder for Me

re·mind
tr.v. re·mind·ed, re·mind·ing, re·minds
To cause to remember; put in mind: must remind him to call; reminded her of college days.

Psalm 103

Of David.

1 Praise the LORD, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.

7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.

19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.

20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.

Praise the LORD, my soul.

Worship Song

Verse

Matthew 8:23-26 (New Living Translation)

Jesus Calms the Storm
23 Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. 24 Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

26 Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.

I remember hearing this story throughout my childhood in various Sunday

school classes. I can remember thinking "come on guys Jesus is with you. He's got everything under control."

As I've grown and as my family and I have many, almost continual hardships I can relate a lot more to the disciples. We've been in a "Lord Save Us" mentality. And while I've trusted the Lord to a certain extent, I'm realizing that the Lord wants to deepen this trust and do further structuring and building up of his character into me.

So my prayer is that I would stop being afraid of what you are doing. "Jesus you are with me. You've got everything under control." Lord help me to be obedient. Help me to not choose the permissible things, but chose those things that will be profitable for Your Kingdom and for the family that you have entrusted to me. Thank you for never leaving me or forsaking me. I love you.
